Telecaster with Pine Body through 1960 Fender Tweed Deluxe Amplifier

 Telecaster built for long time friend Peter.
Used an Allparts tele neck, a generic pine tele body off eBay
mostly all Fender hardware with the addition of a Gibson humbucker.

End weight was right at 6.5 lbs which is quite comfortable.

Pine Body Telecaster Build

Good friend Peter wanted a Keith Richards style Telecaster built.
I was consigned to build one for him using Fender hardware and lead pickup coupled with a Gibson humbucker for the neck pickup position. We used an unfinished AllParts maple tele neck and a generic and roughly routed tele style pine body from eBay.

Here are various stages of the building of this pine bodied Telecaster.
The end weight of the completed was a nice lightweight 6.5 lbs.

The pine body was not complete and required some extra work to get the string holes and ferrule pockets properly milled.

The soft pine was already dented in a few spots and more sanding was required to make the body
acceptable.
