Christmas Eve Slush and Mush

Well here we are still waiting for the rain to come and wash away all this ice and snow. These two photos show the uphill and downhill views of the street in front of our house. Wife is camped out at an airport hotel in order to get to work.

Bristol Amps on Display

A few shots of the two Tube Amps I fabricated for a good buddy and Professional guitar player, Mike McGee.
One is a Marshall 18 watt replica and the other is a custom 3 channel 80 watter with a split preamp power amplifier layout. The power amp houses 4 each KT66 output valves. The amplifier is named after Mike's moniker "The Machine".

Snow Dazed and Confused

Over a week of snow and icy streets and it's starting to get old.
Having no four wheel drive vehicle is a real hazard with all of the hilly terrain here in Seattle

Whiskey A Go Go circa 60's

Sadly these two photos represent the only shots taken of the many shows I was able to catch at the funkay, funkay Whiskey A Go Go on the Hollywood Sunset Strip during the 60's and 70's.
However the show was one of the finest I witnessed there with this being Cream's first visit to Los Angeles promoting their Fresh Cream LP. The crowd was full of other celeb musicians and movie stars all there to catch the latest buzz about town. Marshall power to the people y'all!!

Nearly Dan at the Triple Door

My first concert photos of guitar buddy Michael McGee's Steely Dan cover group called Nearly Dan. Used my Canon full frame 5D with an f4.0 lens which allowed me to just barely capture enough light for a few decent photos. Next time I'll use a few prime lenses with hopefully better results.

Guitar Crazy

Some shots of various guitars that I built. The Les Paul is my first built from scratch meaning all wood parts were crafted using my wood and tooling based off dimensions taken from my 1954 Gibson Goldtop Les Paul.

Seattle Snow attack 2

Another wave of snow and ice arrives just after the first wave
had melted away. With all of Seattle's hills it's hazardous
to attempt a drive out on the icy roads.

Seattle Snow Attack Chills Red Robin

Here is a taste of the recent Seattle snow taken from my deck at midnight after the snow quit falling.
I used a 30 second exposure with a Canon 5D and a 135mm f2.0 lens.

A shot of a cold robin sitting on my dogwood tree. brrr..
